On 28 May, Art clinic offered three different folk music and dance performances around Turku. The performances were “Good bye song” (Matkaansaattajat) at Kupittaa station, “A couple of ideas for Puutori” (Pari ideaa Puutorille) at Puutori and “Good night Turku!” (Nyt Turku nukkumaan!) at the Art museum, Market square and the riverside.

Concept and direction Meiju Niskala and Meiju Lampinen as her assistant. Adaptations and most of the lyrics are made and written by the choirmaster of Kiikurit, Marjaana Penttinen. Production Emmi Kantonen / Turku365 Art Clinic. Photos Milla-Kariina Oja.

Performers: Kiikurit

We want to thank Turku city for the donated red hawthorn!

The artwork was a production of Art Clinic, where groups and private individuals created public urban artworks tailored for their personal skills and interests.
