Julin ja huiskat

Marginalized Object Service Patrol fought back shabbiness on Wednesday 23 March within a radius of 365 metres from the centre of the market square: plants were dusted in the shopping mall, worn crosswalk stripes repainted using chalk and pavement grilles of the pedestrian street vacuumed. The patrol of volunteers also cleaned the ears of Erik Julin’s memorial statue thoroughly using cotton sticks and wrote a number of cheer-up letters to the lonely mailbox of the dilapidated house nearby.

Concept and directing Meiju Niskala and Meiju Lampinen as her assistant. Production Benny Majabacka / Turku365 Ulkoilmaosasto.
